I ordered a pasta dish (I can't recall the exact name, unfortunately!) and it was a 10/10. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauce was flavorful and rich, and the ingredients were clearly fresh and high-quality. Every bite was a true delight. Beyond the delicious food, the service at Rio Novo was exceptional. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. “ The food was great. Slightly higher price but worth it. Service is good but you should call and ask for anything needed as they are quite busy. We got a table inside the restaurant which has too much smell from the kitchen and a bit of stuffy air. ”

We would have gone three days if we could have. The most delicious risotto I have ever had in my life. We tried 7 plates and each was better than the last. The host and service make the restaurant such a lovely breath of fresh air compared to crowded restaurants and the attention to detail is an incredible addition to the experience. Each plate was designed to accompany the absolutely delicious food. We recommended this place to our entire family next time they visit. I can’t wait to come back! ”
“ love the lobster pasta and lasagna that we ordered from this restaurant! the lobster meat on pasta was big and worked well with other seafood (perfect cooked squid, mussels, shrimp and clams). worth every penny! bonus: we ate beside the canal. note though that they charge 12% service charge but with the friendly and accommodating waiters plus complimentary bread, limoncello and chocolate, i'd say this charge is highly reasonable. definitely must try when you're in Venice! ”
